Volunteer Opportunities

* Volunteers aged 12 – 15 require adult supervision.

Food Pantry and Warehouse:  You can make a difference by assisting with food pick-up from local grocers, greet clients, managing cashiers, stocking pantry shelves, sorting and packing food, and ensuring cleanliness. This opportunity is open to individuals 12* and older, with flexible shifts available Mon. to Fri. between 8am and 8pm.

Education & Empowerment:  Unlock the potential of clients by empowering them to achieve self-sufficiency through impactful classroom instruction. Opportunities include teaching ESL, Faith & Finances, budgeting, computer skills, resume writing, first-time home buying, and more. Ages 21 and older are welcome. Shifts are available Mon. to Friday, with flexible timings ranging from 10am to 7pm.

Spiritual Care & Professional Counseling:  Embark on a meaningful journey by sharing the gospel with clients. Guide them in finding harmony, establishing connections, and revitalizing or deepening their relationship with God. Opportunities are available for individuals 21 and older, with shifts varying from Mon. to Fri. between 8am and 5pm.

Kids Eat Free:  Make a difference by ensuring that no child experiences hunger during the summer break when school meals are not available. Contribute by sorting, packing, and delivering meals to those in need. This opportunity is open to individuals aged 12* and older, and dates are available in June, July, and Aug.

Back to School:  Support students’ success by providing them with the essential supplies they need to succeed. Contribute by sorting, packing, setting up, and distributing the supplies. This opportunity is available for individuals aged 12* and older, and select dates in late summer are scheduled. 

Christmas Cheer:  Spread holiday children by bringing happiness to children and seniors. Play a vital role in sorting, packing, setting up, and distributing. This opportunity is open to individuals aged 12* and older, and select dates in Dec. have been designated for this special occasion.

Administration:  Contribute to the efficient functioning of CCA. Help ensure smooth operations by answering phones, handling clerical tasks, assisting with mailings, cleaning, and more. This opportunity is available for individuals aged 21 and older, with flexible shifts offered from Mon. to Fri. between 8am and 5pm.

  3. Register for Orientation
    Get started on your volunteering journey by registering for orientation. Once you’ve submitted your application, we’ll promptly reach out to you within 24 business hours to schedule an orientation session. This essential step will equip you with the necessary information and guidance to make a meaningful impact as a volunteer.

  4. Attend Orientation in Person
    Embark on a transformative volunteering experience by attending our in-person orientation at CCA. Choose from multiple orientation times at 8am, 11:30am, and 6pm, with varying days available to accommodate your schedule.

    The engaging session will provide you with valuable insights, essential information, and the necessary tools to embark on your volunteer journey with confidence.
