Bringing Hope and Changing Lives for Over 50 Years

Because of someone like you, a mom didn’t have to skip dinner. A senior didn’t have to stretch a single can of soup into three meals. That’s the impact your generosity makes—every day—through Christian Community Action’s Food Pantry.

Right now, we need your help again.

Our pantry is feeding more people than ever, but the cost of groceries keeps climbing, and federal support for food banks is shrinking. Our partner, the Tarrant Area Food Bank, is facing a $4.2 million shortfall. That directly affects how much food we receive—and how much we can share with our neighbors in crisis.

In the Bible, when Joseph saw that a time of hunger was coming, he didn’t wait. He organized a food drive across the land to prepare for the hard days ahead. We’re facing a similar moment now. It’s time to fill the pantry.

Thanks to you, we serve over 800 families a week. That’s more than 10,000 meals every single day. And behind each of those meals is a real story—like Kendra’s.

Kendra is a single mom to Trenton (18) and Walker (5). Her world started to unravel in 2022 when she lost her father—the man who helped raise her boys and held the family together. Two days before Christmas, she was hit by a drunk driver and totaled her car. Medical bills piled up, and she eventually lost her apartment.

She fought to rebuild—found housing, found work—but when she was laid off, the bottom fell out again. She and her sons ended up in a shelter and turned to CCA’s Food Pantry for help.

With food security in place, Kendra was able to get back on her feet. She’s now in stable housing again and plans to enroll in CCA’s free Job Readiness and Resume Building classes. She told us, “My dad always taught me, ‘You never know whose life you’re touching when you give.’ Now I know—it could be mine.”

That’s the kind of hope your support brings.

Right now, we’re asking you to help fill the pantry again. Every gift does more than restock shelves—it fills homes with meals, families with peace of mind, and hearts with hope.

Will you help us be ready for the families who need us next?
