Everyone can make a difference at CCA. A few years ago Morgan
was diagnosed with a degenerative disease and found out that one day
he would loose the use of his legs. But he decided that as long as
he could still talk, he could still be productive.
So he came to
CCA to answer the phones, but in his time volunteering with the
organization, he has done much more. He has given money to pay
someone's electric bill. He has picked up people and brought them to
CCA's doors when they had no transportation. He has been an advocate
for CCA, encouraging others to volunteer and become involved.
Perhaps what Morgan does best is take time for people. Morgan
says, "Heroes to me are people who do for others without expecting
something in return." He is certainly a hero to CCA and to the
people he helps.
You too can make a difference like Morgan. Join CCA and help us
help those in need. |
