The assignment of work location is dependent on the times available to work
and the appropriateness of the location (i.e. A person under the age of 17
is not allowed to work in the Donation Center, and if under the age of 16 is
not allowed to work in the Resale Stores, due to labor laws).
Each work location has slightly different set of guidelines, however,
please note the following:
- You must work a minimum of two hours each time you show up to work.
- If you do not show up for thirty (30) days, your paperwork will be
returned to your probation officer unless you have called and notified
the Community Service Coordinator and/or the supervisor in the
department in which you are assigned.
- Minors under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult while the
child is performing his or her community service hours. The adult
will only supervise the minor and will NOT work the hours along
with the minor.
We sincerely appreciate your consideration in working with Christian
Community Action. We appreciate and value those that are committed to
completing their hours with us.
