Helping Families in Time of Need

A typical family seeking assistance from Christian Community Action is a single mom with two or three children.  She tries to make ends meet on a minimum wage job. Through individual interviews and follow-up meetings, Family Assistance Coordinators provide financial, emotional and spiritual assistance to  families.  Immediate and ongoing needs are determined and a plan is designed to enable families to progress permanently out of economic crisis into an independent future.

To receive assistance, a client must follow our guidelines and remain in good standing with CCA.  While the requirements for each client may vary based on the situation, a client must provide all necessary documents to receive help and may be required to attend training or shop in our food pantry.
